Are the transport facilities to your home very good?
I’ve honestly been very satisfied with transportation in Beijing. There’re many buses and subway lines very close-by. I can get to wherever I need to go pretty easily. I also really like the shared bikes in Beijing. They make it pretty easy for me to get around.
我其实还是对北京的交通很满意的。附近有很多公交车和地铁线。我去哪儿都非常的方便。我也很喜欢北京的共享单车。这些都让我出行很方便。
Please describe the room you live in?
I really love my bedroom. It’s the biggest room in the apartment, which means I have lots of space for all of my things. Uh, for example, I have a big closet for all my clothes. I also have a TV and some very good speakers. They are all essential to my daily life.
我真得非常喜欢我的卧室。它是我公寓最大的房间了，我可以有很多空间来置放我的所有东西。例如，我有装我衣服的超大衣柜。我还有台电视机，以及一些非常不错的音响。这些东西对我日常生活来说都很重要。
Do you prefer living in a house or a flat?
Right now I definitely prefer living in an apartment. I’m still new to living on my own, so an apartment has much less space for me to clean. But when I’m raising a family I think I’m going to want to have more space, so I think I’ll prefer a house when I’m older.
现在我绝对喜欢居住在公寓里。我独自居住生活时间不长，所以相对小的公寓更好收拾。但是，当我要养家了，我认为我会想要更大的空间。所以我认为等我年纪大点了我更倾向于大房子。
What part of your home do you like the most?
That’s a hard question because I’m quite into a lot of things about my apartment… This might be a strange answer, but I think that my favorite part about my home is that I get to live with my best friends. In the future, what type of place would you like to live in?
As I mentioned before, I think that I’ll want to live in a house when I’m older. It doesn’t have to be very big, but I want to have a nice backyard for my kids to play in. I also want to have a fireplace because I think it looks awesome.

What can you see from the window of your apartment?
It’s funny that you should ask because the view from my window is one of the best parts of where I live! I have a really great view of the Haidian tower. In fact, whenever I bring people over to my apartment for the first time, they always compliment the view.

Is your home far from here?
No, my home is really not too far from here. It’s maybe a twenty-five-minute walk away. This morning I got here pretty easily… It’s just a quick bus ride away.
